Ingredients
• Coconut (grated)
• Sugar
• Ghee
• Water
• Cardamom (Illaichi) powder
• Turmeric (a pinch)

Process
1. Heat a pan on medium flame and add ghee. Let it melt completely.
2. Add sugar to the melted ghee and pour water into it.
3. Cook the mixture till the sugar dissolves fully and forms a one-string sugar syrup (sugar pak).
4. Now add grated coconut to the sugar syrup and mix well.
5. Add cardamom powder, a pinch of turmeric, and salt to taste.
6. Stir continuously on low flame till the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
7. Grease a plate or tray with ghee.
8. Pour the hot coconut mixture onto the greased plate.
9. Spread it evenly and flatten it like a thin roti or vadi shape using a spatula.
10. Let it cool completely and set properly.
